Universites Should accept equal number of male and female students

There is no doubt that education is the most fundamental right of every human being, irrespective of ,not only their gender but other factors such as soical and economic status, cast and parent's employment also. However it would not always be advisable to distribute the available seats  by the universities equally between male and female candidate without any further evaluation criteria .

No one can argue that  women who are considered to be the least developed and educated organ of our society , specially in asian countries, require the equal opportunity from us to foster and keep pace with the men. Therefore people supporting this viewpoint argue that, by tendering this, the society will do justice with the women by providing them equal chances of education ,which will indirectly lead them to successfully compete  in the job market with the men thus making them more responsible and independet from men and it will  also impove their moral and status.

However there are serious repercussion of such a decision ,on the society and its consequences can not be condoned.First of all, dearth of equal number of applicant of  both genders, for a paricular subject may left few of the seats vacant for one gender while the talented candidate of other gender can not get admisssion becuase of this restriction in place.Second of all, becuase of phenamenol differnence in thinking and interest of both male and female it is natural to have diffrent liking on various subject. For instance music and dance may be the first priority of the females while sport and science can be of men. Thus most of the boys may like to study buniess administration while girl;s blue eyed subject me be fashion and music.
Therefore  in my opnion, the decision of distributing seats beween male and female applicaiton equally can be detrimenal rather than beneficial for our society and nation ,which may not set in motion the growth of both the gender but may lead increased rift beween both genders which in no way can be proved a good step.Instead of that , however , it will be acceptable to have some critera for identification of the best candidate, such as written enterance test or personal interview or the markes obtained in ther last qualified edcuation rather than selecting them on the basis of their gender.

In conlcusion, I believe that, selecting the best talent should be priority of the universities and they have not write to descriminate on the basis of their gender.
